“Promoting Successful Aging”

 We believe Successful Aging involves three types of actions:

· An attempt to avoid disease and disability by making good lifestyle choices.
· Staying as active as possible both physically and mentally.
· Staying involved with other people and with life.

We invite you to make these actions a regular part of your life.

We welcome you to the Senior Center and we encourage you to share your suggestions and comments.

Tuesday: Afternoon Canasta          12:30 PM

Partnerships in Programming

Working together with Wheatheart the Ponca City Senior Center is one of the best centers in the state.

Programs are coordinated and developed for the Senior Center as well as throughout our community.

We partner with other senior programs in Ponca City and the surrounding area in an effort to design programs for successful aging.

Meals and Transportation

Wheatheart provides meals at the Senior Center Monday through Friday, except on holidays.

Reservations are made the day before for the next day’s meal. Weekly menu is posted at the Senior Center and in the Sunday edition of The Ponca City News.

The City of Ponca City has an agreement with Cimarron Transit to provide free transportation to and from the Senior Center contact the Senior Center, 763-8051, for more information
