Ponca City Fire Stations

The City of Ponca City’s Fire response units and personnel are deployed from four stations strategically located throughout the City.

Fire Station #1 was established in 1925 and completely refurbished in 2000.  It is located at 500 E Grand, and is the largest of the four stations.  Considered the “main” fire station, inside you will find Fire Administration, living quarters for up to  15 shift personnel and  the majority of the specialized response units in the fleet and  3  Ambulances.   

 

 

 

Fire Station #2 was established in 1981.  It is located at 2600 N Ash.  It has living quarters for up to 4  shift personnel.  Located in close proximity to the Ponca City Airport it houses a specialized unit dedicated to aircraft emergencies.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Fire Station #3 was established in 1954.  It is located at 627 E. Hartford. It has living quarters for up to 3 shift personnel. 

 

 

Fire Station #4 was established in 1964. 
It has living quarters for 4 personnel.

 The fleet includes 5 Ambulances, a “Quint”, three pumpers, a rural truck, paramedic response unit, special operations unit, ARFF truck (aircraft response unit), and a command vehicle.  Specialized support equipment includes a rescue boat, hazardous materials response trailer and hydraulic extrication equipment  (Jaws of Life). 

Members respond to calls for service without regard for their own personal well being, but rather with a desire and passion to serve the public to the best of their abilities.
