Outdoor Walking Trails


Standing Bear Trail, inside the park is .55 mile; the Greenbelt Trail is 1.10 mile; Erie Park Trail is .55 mile and the Club House to the Greenbelt is .65 mile.


Located within Standing Bear Park are the walking trails, Education Museum and statue of Standing Bear.

For “Share the Road” linkage from Standing Bear Park travel North on Seventh Street to War Memorial Park.  This Share the Road link ends at Hartford Avenue.

War Memorial Park, North 5th and Overbrook –



Hutchins Trail is .838 mile in length.


Located in War Memorial Park is the Wally Smith Tennis Center which includes 9 lighted courts and a 9-hole Frisbee golf course.


The POW/MIA Monument was completed and dedicated in September 2006.�� The monument was purchased and installed by the Ponca City Chapter of  the Vietnam Veterans of America and donated to the City of Ponca City.



For “Share the Roadlink travel East on Highland/Lake Road then North on Monument Road to the Marland Trail.





Marland Estate, 901 Monument Road –



Marland Estate Trail begins at the west gate of the Marland Estate, extending through Unity Gym parking, and continues through Redbud Park to Hartford Avenue.  The trail is .711 mile in length.

 Lake Ponca Trail

            A natural hiking, biking and equestrian trail has been established at Lake 
            Ponca along the fence line on Snake Road from   Hartford Ave. to
            Prospect Ave. and is 1.9 mile in length.
